Ram SinamCo-Founder, Trapeze

Ram is a graduate in Visual Communications from the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, India. He is one of the co-founders of Trapeze, a multidisciplinary design studio in Bangalore.

One of his memorable projects at Trapeze is SOAK, Mumbai in an Estuary, it was both a book design and an exhibition for Dilip DaCuhna and Anuradha Mathur, at the National Gallery of Modern Arts, Mumbai. He continues to be the creative director for ColourNext Installations, the annual colour forecasting event for Asian Paints. He has also worked as a design consultant for various prestigious projects, including the Khalsa Heritage Complex, Anandpur Sahib by Design Habit.

His interests lie in blurring the boundaries of various visual mediums, materials and practices. He brings this strength into the multi-disciplinary approach to his design solutions. Ram was awarded the CA G “Designer of the Year ” in 1998 (Communication Arts Guild, Mumbai).
