When Microsoft approached us for the IRCTC app for the windows tablet and phone the only brief given was to reimagine the IRCTC’s booking service in a way that changes the face of IRCTC itself and the perception around it. This app was anticipated to have millions of downloads and needed to bring IRCTC at par and as desirable as the other booking apps in the market currently. |

Utilising the windows platform to its fullest we brought out the key journeys the user would like to perform on the app. Booking tickets, checking PNR status, inquiring the rail routes and managing their journeys was the prime focus of the app. The clever use of type hierarchy was done to bring out the content in layers. |
