About | Mumbai Press Club, the body of journalists and media professionals, acts as the moral compass of Indian media. To highlight the cringe-worthy moments in the media, they wanted to institute an annual parody award. They wanted to create a platform that would allow public shaming of these offenders, in a manner that was light-hearted, yet impactful. | |||
Solution |
Getting the right tone was critical. It had to stop just short of inviting a defamation case. We came up with the name ‘Ouch’ awards. The logo of the award was inspired by the metaphorical ‘black-eyed face’. It was conceived in a way that we literally branded the face of the winners. | |||
