Say It With A Stamp

In India, it’s a well-practiced custom to exchange gifts and cards to celebrate special occasions. Be it Diwali, New Year or weddings, the country’s socialite circle sees a pool of gifts being exchanged. But because of this flood of gifts, it becomes very easy to get lost amongst the crowd of gifts. The challenge was to create a visual identity for our clients Nikhil and Natasha Gowani. The Gowanis are Real Estate moguls of Mumbai, owning one of the largest business parks in the city. And even larger than their business is their social circle. The task at hand was to create a unique, personalised visual identity for them that would make their gifts stand out.

The ‘NG’ Stamps. We designed a set of postal stamps, each of which had elements specific to each occassion. Additionally, a rubber stamp with the initials N and G were also created. The postal stamps were to be pasted on gift cards and cash envelops. And the initials were to be printed on the postal stamps, using the customized rubber stamp. Elegantly designed, these stamps became a personalised signature of sorts and a unique visual identity too.

The unique customized stamps made gifts from our clients easily stand out from the crowd. The stamps were not just loved by our clients but the recipients of their gifts too. And soon more requests for such personalised stamps poured in.
