Elsie Nanji is managing partner at Red Lion, the design wing of Publicis Communications in India, and is a multiple award winner at both Indian and international award shows, including the Clio Awards, Cannes Lions, D&AD, Spikes Asia and The One Show.

Elsie has represented India as a returning jury member in several international award shows, including D&AD, the Clio Awards, AdFest and more recently as part of the design jury at Spikes Asia 2009 and the Cannes Lions in 2010.

She is a founding partner of Ambience, an agency that has featured in top five creative agency lists from the very first year it opened its doors, some 20 years ago. Ambience has since joined the Publicis Worldwide network and, in April 2007, Elsie had an offer to return to her passion for design to partner with Publicis in creating a design cell called Red Lion.

In 2011, The Economic Times voted Red Lion as one of the top five design brands in the country. Red Lion has been the winner of a gold award at Goafest, both a silver and gold spikes at Spikes Asia, and a silver lion at Cannes, all in the design category.

Gabor brings a unique mix of rigour and passion to brand expression projects as Executive Creative Director at Saffron. He leads a talented multicultural design team across Saffron’s locations, advising clients such as A1 Telekom Austria, Rompetrol, Bankinter, Vueling, Coca-Cola and Swiss Re amongst others.

Prior to Saffron, he worked at Addison where he focused on identity and architecture projects with clients like Repsol, NH Hoteles and Telefónica. Before that he was part of the team at Schindler, Parent & Cie. Advance in Berlin, working for brands like Daimler and Smart.

Gabor is trilingual in German, Spanish and English and is a lecturer at the IE Business School, Istituto Europeo di Design and the EAE Business School in Madrid on branding and design. He is known to be quite the automotive aficionado and loves everything from fast cars to slow trucks.

Hanson Ho is the recent recipient of Singapore’s highest design accolade, the President’s Design Award 2012 ‘Designer of the Year’.

As founder and creative director of Singapore based design studio H55 which he founded in 1999, Hanson has created numerous visual identities, brand applications, and publications which have represented Singapore on an international level. These include the visual identity designs for the Singapore Pavilion at various Venice Biennales and the Lee Kuan Yew World City Prize.

Featured by the Sunday Times as one of the top Graphic Designers in Singapore, Hanson has received recognition and awards from some of the most prestigious international design competitions for his works, including the British D&AD, New York Type Directors Club, New York One Show Design, Creative Circle Awards, Tokyo Type Directors Club, and the New York Art Directors Club.

Hanson’s work has been featured in numerous international design publications, including Peter and Charlotte Fiell’s recently published ‘New Graphic Design: The 100 Best Contemporary Graphic Designers’, Tashen’s ‘Asian Graphics NOW!’ and Viction:ary’s ‘Point East: Exploring Talents in Asia’.

Besides heading H55, Hanson plays the role of curator for the Singapore Land Transport Authority’s (LTA) Art-in-Transit Programme for nine of the upcoming MRT Downtown Line Stations. Hanson has been an invited speaker and an external examiner for several design institutions, and is the managing editor and creative director for The Design Society Journal.

Jeremy Leslie is a London-based creative director specialising in editorial design. He runs magCulture, providing consultancy and advice to publishers and other clients working with content for print and digital media.

He has art directed weekly and monthly magazines and has recently developed iPad apps for several magazines as well as creating the identity and site for online magazine Aeon. During the noughties he was creative director at John Brown Publishing, overseeing the creation of award-winning projects for clients including Virgin Atlantic and M-real papers. He also devised the children’s encyclopedia Pick Me Up for Dorling Kindersley.

Jeremy is a passionate advocate for editorial design, regularly contributing to the creative press and international design conferences on the subject as well as judging awards competitions. He was recently elected a member of international design organisation AGI.

His new book, ‘The Modern Magazine’ is published by Laurence King later this year.

Sanky co-founded AllofUs in 2003 and is one of 3 partners responsible for the overall creative direction of all its major projects including Ballantines, Covent Garden, Great Ormond Street, IKEA, Nokia, Paper Denim and Pentagram.

After studying graphic design at Newcastle College BTEC he then studied Graphic Design at Nottingham Trent. Sanky joined Digit at its inception as Art Director and worked with various clients including the award-winning Habitat, MTV2, Stella McCartney, Design Museum, Creative Review and Sky.

Sanky is a regular speaker at international design conferences including the IDN Fresh Conferences in Sydney and Singapore, Flash Forward Amsterdam, Kyoorius Designyatra Goa, Design Indaba 6 South Africa speaking alongside Sir Terence Conran and Semi Permanent in New Zealand.

He has also been a judge for the D&AD Awards, Design Week Awards, Flash Forward Awards, Roses Design Awards, Canadian Art Directors Club, Construction Awards (South Africa) and the Art Directors Club in New York amongst many others.

Sanky was elected as D&AD President for 2010 – 2011.

He currently spends his time split between London and New York after AllofUs joined Mccann in 2011.

Tania Singh Khosla is the founder and design director of tsk Design, a brand and communication design consultancy in Bangalore, India.

After graduating with an MFA in Graphic Design from Yale University, USA, she returned to India to establish the firm in 1997. Working across mediums _ print, web and space, the firm has produced exciting and effective brand solutions and communication strategies for some of India’s leading corporates.

An exciting aspect of the practice at tsk Design has been collaborative projects with architecture firm Khosla Associates, which is housed in the same space. In these partnerships, qualities of narrative, super graphics and spatial effects of color are woven into interior spaces. Some significant projects include the MTV offices in Bangalore and Mumbai, Touch – a lounge bar in Hyderabad, Khyber – a leading restaurant in Mumbai amongst several others.

The work of tsk Design has been featured in numerous international books and publications including Creative Review, Eye and Wallpaper (UK), How and Interiors (USA); books such asIndian Design (Daab, Netherlands), Night Fever and Bon Appetit (Frame Publications, Amsterdam), Eating and Designing (Index Books, Spain), Asia Pacific Design 7 (China).Tania Singh Khosla has been invited to speak and present at various international conferences such as Design Yatra 2011 (Goa), Institute of Contemporary Arts (London), Conqueror DesignAwards (Malaysia), Indian Design Forum (British Council, India) and as a delegate to the World Creative Forum (London)

Ton is Creative Director/ Partner at Design Team Malaysia, an international member of the Association of Dutch Designers (BNO) and has had a career spanning several countries.

He was born in the Netherlands and graduated there from tertiary studies in communication design at the St. Joost Academy of Fine Arts in 1985. Following his studies, he joined Studio Dumbar in The Hague, where over a 6 year period his work for the studio was internationally recognised and awarded by the British D&AD, the Dutch Graphic Design Association ADCN and the New York Type Directors Club. Clients included Dutch Post and Telecom Corporation (PTT, now KPN), Apple Computer Europe, Holland Festival and the Dutch Automobile Association (ANWB).

Following his tenure at Studio Dumbar, Ton established his own company, Van Bragt Ontwerpen in The Hague and completed postage stamps and other projects for the Dutch PTT and various clients. He taught design and typography at Rotterdam University. Ton was awarded 3 German Red Dot awards during this period.

In 1994, Ton relocated to Malaysia with his partner Ming Tung and together they established Design Team and he started lecturing at the Centre for Advanced Design in Kuala Lumpur. In 1998, Ton was headhunted for the role of Senior Art Director at Philips Design Hong Kong and embarked on a redesign of the vast Philips global packaging programme. This work won a Dutch design award.

In 2000, Ton returned to full time responsibilities with Design Team in Malaysia, while maintaining a design consultancy role for Philips Design. Complimenting his work for international private enterprises and organisations, Ton lectured at design institutions and conferences around the world and he was lecturer and Head of Communication Design at the Centre for Advanced Design (CenfAD) from 2001 – 2007.
