National Creative Director & Executive Vice President, GREY India

Malvika Mehra

Malvika believes one is only as good as their last campaign and that’s the inspirational attitude she brings to GREY group India as its National Creative Director. With about 50 brands and a tight ship of 50 creative professionals across four cities under her artistic eye, Malvika is particularly proud of bringing home GREY India’s first ever Gold Lion at Cannes in 2013 for her iconic and very graphic print campaign ‘Positive-Negative’ for Duracell. Her first and last job prior to GREY was at Ogilvy India where she spent 16 years creating work that won several awards, accolades and even a place in the ‘Top 10 Campaigns of the Decade’ list by Brand Equity (Economic Times).

A career spanning 20 years has seen her work on nearly every category from banking to potato chips, mobile service providers to batteries; leading her team to win countless national and international awards including the Abby, Effies, Emvies, Cannes, One Show, D&AD, Media Spikes and Adfest Asia; both for effective and creative advertising. Malvika has been on the prestigious Cannes Jury twice (Film Jury – 2011 and the Print Jury – 2014) as well as the Clio Jury (2014).

Over the years, Malvika has featured in the ‘Top 50 most influential women in media, marketing and advertising’ list (Impact India /Advertising Age), ‘Top 20 Creative Directors in India’ list (Brand Equity Agency Reckoner-Economic Times) and in Campaign India’s A list.
