Deepika TiwariAs the General Manager – Marketing, Jewellery Division at Titan Company Limited, Deepika Sabharwal Tewari has led the company’s jewellery division into a new sphere. Her role transcends the division’s various brands that cater to India’s rapidly evolving consumer segment and she is viewed an invaluable asset to Titan Company Limited. Deepika has played a pivotal role in keeping Tanishq relevant and refreshing and this stands true in the case of all Tanishq Promises landmark communication – which can be seen in the case of the phenomenal Tanishq second wedding film, Mia’s connection with the modern working woman and several others. She has also played an important role in the growth of Goldplus – catering to the growing needs of the semi-urban and rural Indian customer.

In addition to her external marketing role, Deepika is also a part of the core marketing team at Titan Company and is playing an important role in positioning Titan as a lifestyle company. This was in the wake of the company changing its corporate identity from Titan Industries Limited to Titan Company Limited in the year 2013.

Being well-traveled, Deepika holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from Mithibai Motiram College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai University and a Masters in Management Studies from Welingkar Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai University.

She began her career in marketing at Vadilal Ice Creams and Milton Plastics, and later moved then on to the challenging world of advertising. She spent most of her career with Ogilvy and Mather in the Mumbai and Bangalore offices. She was a Senior Business Head in her last advertising role, managing marquee brands in India like Asian Paints, Ponds, Allen Solly, and IDBI bank to name a few. Deepika joined Titan Industries limited in 2012 as General Manager – Marketing, Jewellery Division, being responsible for Tanishq, Mia, FQ and Gold plus brands of jewellery. She has over 20 years of experience across various categories tackling various challenges in the worlds of marketing, advertising and communication.
