General advice for presentation boards:

All entrants must prepare presentation boards that will be used by the Jury for their deliberations.

The boards serve as a “teaser” for the Jury – make sure they create a good impression and capture their interest. They should be a summary of your entry and MUST be contained within the amount specified as per the category.

The board and relevant images must be submitted on the online entry site as well alongside the physical hardcopy.

Supporting entry text can be submitted, of not more than 400 words. This is to enable you to further explain your project (with respect to its brief, solution and result for example) This Supporting text must be pasted behind the presentation board, and also provided in digital format on the Entry disk.

Hard Copy: A2 mounted on card-board, card paper or foamboard – (approximately 60cm x 40cm) and not more than 2mm thick, landscape/portrait format.

Digital Format: Presentation board can be submitted as a RGB colour, JPEG or PDF file, with 300 dpi minimum. Supporting Entry text must be in PDF or Word format. Digital images must be submitted on a disk along with supporting material at the time of entry submission. Total size of all the files should not exceed 1GB. Any additional information will not be considered valid for examination.

Tips for your presentation boards:

  • DO NOT use your Agency logo or branding or refer to your Agency or anyone who has contributed to the entry anywhere on your board or in your written submission.
  • Keep the layout clear, simple and uncluttered. DO NOT put the category code and name on the Presentation Board.
  • Limit the use of technical jargon and statistics. It is better to use simple language that will be easily understood by an international Jury. Get your copywriter to assist if necessary.
  • Use clear, relevant images – a few larger images are more effective than too many small images. Work with your creative department and focus on developing impact.
  • Your presentation board is limited to a maximum of 100 words. This should be a summary of your Entry text. Keep it concise, specific and relevant.
