Immersing Ganesha idols on immersion day is a 100-year old tradition. To break it would be blasphemous. Every year, SPROUTS Environment Trust conducts massive beach clean up drives. We needed an idea that would stop people from polluting the ocean, in the first place? So that we didn’t have to clean it up. And idols made from fish food was a natural fit and created enough buzz and awareness. |
