Anubhav Gupta is a global award-winning design thinker and innovator whose work straddles both the design and business worlds across industries and asset classes. He strongly believes in putting the customer at the heart of any enterprise where design can become a strong business horizontal harmoniously connecting verticals to power for sustainable innovation and responsible growth. For him – primary insight, authentic storytelling, technology used smartly and a focus on omni channel experience with human thoughtfulness make for a memorable customer connect for any well-designed product or service.
Anubhav founded the GPL Design Studio at Godrej – a unique multi-disciplinary innovation engine with a mandate for design, product development, brand building and creation of customer experiences. He currently serves as Executive Vice President at Godrej Properties where he leads as Chief Design Officer; Business Head, and Chief of CSR and Sustainability for the Group.
Anubhav was educated at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the University of Cambridge as an architect, urban designer and economist. He has lived and worked in Mumbai, London, Hong Kong and Boston. Mr. Gupta is a published author and has taught at leading international institutions in the United States, United Kingdom, China and India.
