In India, it is a misconception that women are vulnerable to violence only outside their home. Many a time, they are asked not to travel alone or late at night simply because outdoors are considered unsafe. The truth, however, is that women become victims of violence in their own home. The task was to break this misconception and encourage people to take action against violence in the indoors.
