Description | Hanuman Talkies was a brand new production house in Mumbai. It needed an identity that would set it apart in a crowded industry. According to Hindu mythology, Hanuman’s devotion to Lord Rama and Sita was once doubted in Lord Rama’s court. To prove his love, Hanuman literally tore open his chest to reveal Lord Rama’s and Sita’s presence in his heart. The stationery makes use of this legend to showcase Hanuman Talkies’ work ethic – of making films ‘right from the heart’. Also, talkies is the Indian word for the cinema. So elements like ticket stubs were incorporated into the visual identity. |
