Brief P.N. Gadgil and Sons is one of the most reputed jewellery houses in Maharashtra. With a 184-year-old legacy of craftsmanship, the brand sees itself as the custodian of art and culture in the state. It has undertaken activities like a travelling exhibition of masterpieces by homegrown artists. The brand wanted to unveil communication that showcased its position as a curator of all things beautiful.
Scale & Location or Cultural Context Each poster recreated an element of Indian miniature art – horse, elephant, parrot. The miniature form was retained, while the design’s body was re-created with female figures adorned with elements of actual jewellery from P. N. Gadgil and Sons. The design process took over four months.The posters were put up in P. N. Gadgil and Sons showrooms across the city of Pune in Maharashtra.
Solution
 The creatives inspired by the Indian miniature art form put a spin on the traditional renditions of the art style by incorporating female figures adorned with jewellery from P.N Gadgil and Sons. The creatives showcased the product range in a whole new artistic format and positioned the brand as a patron of all art – be it the art of painting or jewellery.
