“R& R programs at GBS Creative Services were very mundane and boring – diluting the idea of the program itself. So, ‘The Big Trumpet Awards’ campaign was conceptualized to take it to a more exciting, engaging level. It was designed to stand out from the humdrum of everyday employee communication.

Adopting “showing off” as the main idea, the campaign was visually different in its presentation – using recycled HP cardboard packing cases and corrugated sheets to create handcrafted posters. They carried facial expressions – various reactions to receiving an award, and were used as teasers as well as at the launch phase. It not only made a huge impact, but provided the much needed visibility, becoming a topic of discussion among over 160 employees across two cities – a quantum leap from previous R&R programs.

The uniqueness of the campaign has led to the posters being readied for auction – the proceeds of which will go to charity.
