Mattel teamed up with The Little Door (a busy Mumbai pub) and driver service Party Club Drivers on a stunt to remind late nighters not to drink and drive.
Car owners hand over their keys to the valet before entering the pub. That’s when key chains with mangled toy cars and the message “Even a small drink is enough” were attached to each set. Along with the phone number of the driver service.
When they left (after a few drinks), their keys with the ‘new’ key chains were returned.
Most partygoers got the message, and called the service or friends and family for a ride home. Having this key chain attached to their car keys will remain a constant reminder of the risks of driving under the influence of alcohol.
