Kasper Aakerlund joined IPG Mediabrands as Hong Kong CEO in September 2016 to lead business strategy and operations, while driving the growth of diversified services. With a strong operational background of leading digital transformation across media organisations in Europe and Southeast Asia, Kasper started his advertising career in Denmark as a Digital planner with OMG and later moved to take on the role as Chief Digital Officer of Carat and Vizeum. Following a period leading boutique digital outfit Suddenly CPH, Kasper was appointed CEO at Isobar where he continued to advance in his region as CEO and Head of Isobar Nordics.

In 2014 Kasper moved to Asia as COO and CDIO of GroupM Vietnam and Indonesia, where he cultivated substantial partnerships with General Management, Digital Investment and Business Development. He oversaw two of the fastest-growing global markets with 850 advertising specialists. Throughout his career Kasper has served some of the world’s best-known brands LEGO, Coca Cola, Adidas, Google, BMW, Mondelez, P&G, General Motors, 20th Century Fox and McDonald’s. As co-chairman of the Mobile Marketing Association 2014-2016, Kasper is a sought after lecturer and key-note speaker on the advertising and communications industry.
