Brief Plan India’s Safer Cities program aims to increase safety and access to public spaces for women and girls, especially those from the lesser-privileged sections of society. The brief was to design an identity for the program.
Solution
The logo is inspired by the location pin as one of the primary tasks of the program is to identity unsafe areas for women and girls. The brackets around it signify safety. The colours and typeface are part of the Plan International identity. The simple design is easily recognisable and lends itself to multiple uses.
